ESPN’s Todd McShie joined the mock draft on Thursday with his final photo before the first round of Real Madrid. 2022 NFL Draft It starts in a few hours. Let’s see what he did for New York Giants.

Round 1 (No. 5) – Charles Cross, O.T., Mississippi

McShay says:

I’ve heard that both Giants and Panthers love the cross, and it’s the best pure scroll guard in the entire class. So New York will likely want to first tackle the streak and land its persona ahead of Carolina before looking at the other needs in No. 7. The cross pairing with Andrew Thomas gives a strong duo for the Giants, helping put Danielle Jones in the best possible position to succeed in a making season or A break for middle school in the fourth year.

Valentine’s Day Offer: And what about this? McShay and Mel Keeper Compatibility. I know some of you think that means this won’t happen. It is, however, interesting.

First Four McShay:

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars – Travon Walker, Edge, Georgia
  2. Detroit Lions – Aidan Hutchinson, Edge, Michigan
  3. Houston Texas – Derek Stingley, CB, LSU
  4. New York Jets – Ike Ikuno, OT, North Carolina

The surprise, of course, is Stingley in third.

Round 1 (No. 7) – Gardner’s Sauce, CB, Cincinnati

McShay says:

It’s not often that the team gets good value on the board, but the opportunity to add a real corner block could be enough for the Giants to skip the passing rush for the time being. And remember, the back corner could get bigger than needed if the team’s salary cap forces him to move from James Bradbury. The Giants can pop champagne early and celebrate by adding young, high-profile starters before sundown even in Las Vegas.

Valentine’s Day Offer: My house is running the script! Texas and Gates leave Gardner on the board, and the Giants pounce.
