The New York Giants They picked a right edge and tackle Thursday night when they picked Kayvon Thibodeaux of Oregon and Evan Neal of Alabama with fifth and seventh overall picks in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Twitter appears to have immediately approved the choices. You can’t always count on social media reaction to give you an accurate picture of success or failure, but it sure looks like Giants fans were a hit tonight.
No offensive tackles were selected in the first four selections. The Giants, knowing that two of the first three tackles would be available in seventh, took advantage of that by choosing Thibodeaux in 5th. Then, in seventh, they took Neal to plug their hole in the right tackle.
I don’t say this much, but this feels like a first home run for the Giants.

The Giants just got better with Kayvon and now Evan Neal. Soon the Cowboys won’t be able to come back to win this division.

Evan Neal, thank you Tweet embed!
My #1 LT and one of the best LT-protecting passes I’ve seen in a long time. He has the same potential as Orlando Pace.
It is clear that they are badly needed. I’m going to give Daniel Jones a chance this year.

Giants steal 2 of the best players in the draft. Gone are the days of Dave Gittleman’s arrogance and ignorance. Hasty pass stud. Stud attack passengers. Absolute perfection. Shuen! Daboll! This is the best day for the Giants in 10 years.

# giants The source told me that Evan Neal and Kevin Tebodeau were two of the top players on the board that started today. They simply did not expect Neil to still be available here.
Great start for Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll to fill two massive holes.

What a blast with the first two Giants picks – DE Kayvon Thibodeaux and OT Evan Neal. I don’t know any Giants fans who could boo those choices.

A perfect first tour of the New York Giants Project. We’ve got the pass that could be the best player in the draft. We got another intervention to finally have a good offensive line. two buttons. great things. The future is bright. All on the Schwinn Train!

Thibodeuax and Neal was one of the best possible combo picks for the New York Giants. A great start to the era of Joo Shuen
