Soon after the Eagles Traded as No. 13 for DT Jordan DavisThey made a great move that fans have been waiting for – not just Hui Rosman Traded for WR AJ BrownBut he also signed him to a four-year, $100 million extension. Brown immediately influences the Eagles’ attack, another familiar face to Galen Hurts. QB and WR have already worked together this season, so that’s fitting.
It’s a move that was mostly unexpected, but one that was instantly celebrated. Brown is that big receiver the Eagles offensive needs, and along with Defonta Smith, he’ll be a big problem for defenses this season (and possibly three more after that).
There is absolutely no doubt that AJ Brown’s trade has been well received among his new teammates.
Mani I’m so excited

We got AJ Brown and Jordan Davis. Plus the Sixers win. Today was a great day for Philly sports!

Analysts also celebrated the move.
Jon Robinson said trading AJ Brown was a tough decision that had put together over the past 18 hours and really heated up this afternoon. They felt like they had reached the point where it would be really hard to agree. #titans.

It was AJ Brown Tweet embed4th best rated WR in 2021, 4th in 2020, and 13th in 2019.
His yardage per track rank was in those years: fifth in 2021, second in 2020, and fifth in 2019.# nobles

The Eagles turned Carson Wentz into a first-round extra pick and then turned the extra first-round pick into AJ Brown.
There were other cuts and moves involved, but it wasn’t a bad deal in the end for Philly.
