Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is of the ‘most corrupt kind’ – Pentagon 2022-04-30 00:21:00

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Pentagon spokesman John Kirby on Friday accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of corruption and brutality in his invasion of Ukraine two months ago.

“It’s brutality of the coldest and most corrupt kind,” Kirby told reporters.

“I don’t think we fully appreciate the degree to which this kind of violence and cruelty would reach, and as I said, corruption, on innocents, non-combatants, and civilians, with such complete disregard for the lives he was taking,” he said.
