It all started over the weekend with a tweet Which suggests that Marvel should replace Pratt Patrick Wilson.
Some piled on Twitter, diverting the conversation to Pratt’s alleged association with a church that supported gay conversion therapy.
Gunn didn’t have that and tweeted in response, “For what? Because of your made-up and completely wrong beliefs about him?”
Gon tweeted, “Something someone else told you about isn’t true?” “Chris Pratt won’t be replaced by Star-Lord, but if he is, we’ll all go with him.”
Jean reiterated his support for Pratt in another response.
“I know which church he’s currently going to,” Gon tweeted. “Are you? (The answer is you don’t, but you heard from someone who heard from someone who heard from someone where he goes to church, so he decided, ‘Yeah, well, I’m going to believe that horrible thing I heard online about this celebrity!’) “
Pratt posted on social media: “It was recently pointed out that I belong to a church that ‘hates a certain group of people’ and ‘notoriously anti-LGBT’.” Nothing could be further from the truth. I go to a church that opens its doors to absolutely everyone.”
Pratt supported Gunn in 2018 after The manager has been fired from the “Guardians” franchise after a number of controversial tweets emerged from his past.
Jean was later reinstated.
