Ireland’s Taylor is the undisputed lightweight champion and undefeated in 20 professional bouts, while Serrano of Puerto Rico has won world titles in seven weight classes and has a professional record 42-1-1 with 30 knockouts.
Only viewers with a DAZN subscription will be able to watch the fight.
DAZN and ESPN both ranked first and Taili Serrano at number two in the women’s boxing rankings, making it one of the most anticipated fights of recent years.
“I think this is one of those fights that made history. The sport, male or female, has never seen a fight like this before,” 35-year-old Taylor told CNN Sport’s Don Riddle.
Previously scheduled for May 2, 2020, the fight was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Since then, both Taylor and Serrano have demanded more wages; Speaking to MMA Hour in January, Serrano promoter Jake Paul confirmed that both boxers would earn seven numbers from the bout.
