How to make a TikTok video

To get started, tap mail, represented by + at the bottom center of the screen.

After that, you can either upload the content from your device’s library or use the TikTok camera to record the video. To start recording, press the red button in the middle of the screen. On top of that, you can select the recording duration: 15 seconds, one minute, or three minutes. When you’re done recording, a check mark will appear to confirm that you want the shots.

You can also create a photo slideshow by selecting Templates from the bottom right. TikTok has many templates preloaded with special effects to make your photos awesome.

To upload a video from your device, tap Download To the right of the record button. There, you can select both photos or videos to upload to TikTok.

Select the file you wish to upload, then click next one At the bottom left of the screen. Now, you can edit your video with various sound effects, filters, stickers and text. You can also cut the video by clicking Adjust clips from the right side.
