“I will voluntarily enter into an inpatient alcohol therapy program to address the challenges I face with alcohol. At this time, my energies and focus are fully directed to my health, healing, and caring for my family. I would like to thank the Hall of Fame for their support and understanding of my decision.”
earlier this month, Solo has been arrested in North Carolina on charges of misdemeanor child abuse, resisting arrest and obstructing driving, according to police.
Solo was arrested in 2014 for domestic assault after police said she assaulted two of her relatives in a home near Seattle. The charges against Solo, who has pleaded not guilty, were formally dropped in 2018.
The National Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony is scheduled for May 21 in Frisco, Texas.
