Elon Musk is considering charging for embedded tweets, among other features 2022-04-30 00:48:35

cCan you imagine that you have to pay a fee to use an embed tweet on Twitter as part of any post you make? Well, it looks like Elon Musk has plans to charge one for each media port he uses to add more context to any post.

The Twitter acquisition deal is not complete yet, and securing funding has not been difficult, but Reuters reported that Musk spoke to the bank and convinced them by telling them he would start charging for various features within the platform. This fee will only apply when tweeting a verified profile, but it seems Elon Musk didn’t think so.

Any news outlet would have to completely disregard Twitter for its articles, while today it uses tweets on a regular basis to make it easier to create their own content. If these fees apply, there is a chance that all news outlets will simply screenshot any tweet and instantly defeat Musk’s purpose.

Also, Elon reportedly has plans to replace the CEO Parag Agrawal With someone he apparently actually picked but refused to reveal his name until now. Musk plans to have someone respond to him as CEO and help him get a more established subscription-based program for Twitter Blue. But the entire Twitter world would go crazy if Musk suddenly decided to monetize some of the platform’s core features.

Musk is out of control of his Twitter account.

Elon Musk has also come off rails with his recent take on Twitter in the form of weird tweets on many different topics. From his already famous intention to buy Coca-Cola, to his feud with Bill Gates or Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez His latest tweet supports the use of psychedelic drugs as an alternative to prescription drugs for depression.

It’s as if he felt like he was already the owner of the platform and didn’t care about owning filters anymore. We get that he loves the trolling aspect of Twitter but that’s what other sites like Reddit or 4chan are aiming for, right?
