Universal Pictures released a second trailer for Jurassic World Dominionthe sixth installment of the highly successful series, which depicts cloned dinosaurs roaming freely on a mainland where humans are facing extinction.
as we are I mentioned earlierThe jurassic world The trilogy was always intended to be a complete story told across three films, as opposed to the independent nature of the original trilogy. Director Colin Trevorrow, who co-wrote DominionHis script knew he wanted the third movie to focus on dinosaurs becoming “open source,” so to speak – envisioning a world in which Wu isn’t the only one capable of cloning monsters. But rather than scene after scene of dinosaurs terrorizing people and destroying cities, he wanted “a world in which dinosaur interactions are unlikely but possible – in the same way we watch bears or sharks.”
According to the official introduction:
Dominion It takes place four years after the destruction of the Isla Nublar. Dinosaurs now live – and hunt – side by side with humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and will determine, once and for all, whether humans will remain the main predators on a planet they now share with the most fearsome creatures in history.
first trailer dropped in februaryand fans were delighted to see Dr. Alan Grant from Sam Neill, Dr. Ellie Sattler from Laura Dern, and the cute, black-clothed Dr. Ian Malcolm from Jeff Goldblum prominently featured alongside jurassic world Co-stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. We haven’t seen Neil or Dern since 2001 Jurassic Park III. They are key players in it DominionAnd it’s not just stars who make short photos that please fans.
also back to Dominion: Daniela Pineda as Vet Dino Dia Rodriguez; Judge Smith as Park Technician Franklin Webb; Isabella Sermon as Macy; Omar Sy as Owen Barry’s assistant; and BD Wong as geneticist Dr. Henry Wu. New cast members include Diwanda Wise, Mamodu Athi, Dishen Lachman, Scott Hays and Campbell Scott. Scott plays Biosyn Genetics CEO Dr. Lewis Dodgson, previously played by Cameron Thor in the 1993 film.
This first trailer was heavy on dramatic sounds and (of course) the brand’s poor outlook for Ian Malcolm — “We’re Racing toward the Extinction of Our Kind” — punctuated by scenes of dinosaurs coexisting with contemporary humans, plants, and animals. This latest trailer has it all, and it also gives us a better idea of the plot.
The second trailer opens like the first, with Owen, Claire, and the older Macy on their farm in the winter. They discover that a velociraptor mama named Blue has given birth – something that Maisie stresses should be impossible. (Didn’t anyone ever tell her that nature, uh, finds a way? Sounds like a great oversight.) Owen decides to protect the husband, but then the child is kidnapped, and Blue isn’t happy. Owen assures the angry bird of prey that he will return the child.
There is an exciting chase scene in the city streets, with Owen being chased on his motorbike by birds of prey, and there are many scenes of Jurassic creatures attacking by air, land and sea – even from under the ice of a frozen lake. And apparently, we’ll meet “the biggest carnivore the world has ever seen,” according to Grant. The team’s work is clearly self-determined, but “if our world survives, what matters is what we do now,” Eli stated.
Jurassic World Dominion It arrives in cinemas June 10, 2022. As this movie trilogy wraps up, rest assured, there will be more in this hugely successful franchise.
