Bill Murray breaks silence on misconduct complaint against him that dropped Aziz Ansari movie 2022-05-01 09:21:45

Recently, actor and comedian Aziz Ansari has been working on directing his first feature film, being deadly. However, the production faced a setback after a crew member filed a complaint against one of the film’s stars, Bill Murray. As of now, Shooting has been stopped by photo scout. While the film’s status remains unclear, Murray has broken his silence on the complaint against him and explained where things currently stand in the situation.

When the complaint was initially reported, it was not clear who it was brought against. Soon, 71-year-old Bill Murray was said to be the recipient. The veteran star discussed it with CNBC, explaining that he had a “difference of opinion” with a colleague he was working with on the set. While Murray didn’t provide specifics about the incident itself, he said he’s had time to think things through:

I did something I thought was funny and it wasn’t taken that way. So now we are talking and trying to make peace with each other. We’re both professionals, we love each other’s work, I think we love each other, and if we can’t really get along and trust each other, there’s no point in continuing to work together or making the movie either. It was a good education for me.
